Season 26, Day 10 - "AAA Members"
It's "Gulf" week, and today's quiz is inspired by the Gulf of Aqaba.
Gulf of Aqaba
The Gulf of Aqaba is the northeastern arm of the Red Sea. One of two gulfs separated by the Sinai Peninsula (along with the Gulf of Suez), it lies between the Sinai and Arabian Peninsulas. The countries of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia have coastlines on its shores. Important cities on the gulf include Aqaba (Jordan’s only seaport), Eilat (at the southern tip of Israel), and Taba (across from Eilat on the Egypt-Israel border). T.E. Lawrence led an attack on Aqaba during WWI, depicted in the movie Lawrence of Arabia.
