Season 26, Day 6 - "Oman Man, Brunei Guy"
It's "Gulf" week, and today's quiz is inspired by the Gulf of Oman.
Gulf of Oman
The Gulf of Oman is the northwest arm of the Arabian Sea. It is connected to the Persian Gulf by the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. It is bordered by Iran, Pakistan, Oman (officially the Sultanate of Oman), and the United Arab Emirates. Important ports on the Gulf of Oman include Muscat (Oman), Fujairah (UAE), and Chabahar (Iran). The Gulf of Oman contains one of the world’s largest marine dead zones, a hypoxic area (with little or no oxygen) where marine wildlife can’t survive.
