Season 7, Day 16 - "Sublime Rhyme" (UNLOCKED)
It's "Purple" week, and today's quiz is inspired by Tinky Winky.
Hi everyone! If you're receiving this quiz for the first time, that means you've added your email to the mailing list, but haven't become a member yet. With Season 8 starting tomorrow (Monday, August 1), I've unlocked one of the recent newsletters to give you a better idea of what the league is like. I've created a new quiz link for this, so feel free to play through if you like.
If you want to receive the emails and support my work, but maybe don't have the time or inclination to play in the league, I'd encourage you to join as well! In fact, about 15-20% of league members prefer to follow along without playing. Whether you decide to join us or not, I appreciate you taking the time to check out School of Trivia. I've put a lot of myself into this project and it couldn't continue to exist without people like you being willing to give it a chance, so thank you!

Tinky Winky
Tinky Winky was a character from the British children's TV series "The Teletubbies." The largest and canonically oldest Teletubby (the others are Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po), Tinky Winky is purple with a triangular antenna on his head and often carries a red bag. The character is infamous for a 1999 "controversy" in which pastor and conservative activist Jerry Falwell warned parents that Tinky Winky could be a "gay role model," since he carries what looks like a woman's handbag, and a downward-pointing triangle (though traditionally pink, not purple) has been used as a gay pride symbol. The BBC's official response stated that "Tinky Winky is simply a sweet, technological baby with a magic bag."
